Rewarding Faith:

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Eph. 6:17.

                "Complete Redemption"

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13-14.

I believe through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth that it was made possible, through this one act of God, for all men to receive regeneration of their spirit man (inner man) (Ephesians 3:16) and to begin to walk in the earth just as our Lord walked during His ministry in all power and all authority just as he commanded us to do in Matthew 28:18-19 and Mark 16:17-18. In other words, walking in the revelation of complete redemption.

How is this possible?

For we walk by faith [that is, we regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our conviction or belief respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, with trust and holy fervor; thus we walk] not by sight or appearance. 2 Corinthians 5:7.

Let the Spirit who teaches all things pertaining to life and Godliness (2 Peter 1:3) reveal these words to you.

We as children of God born from on high have a relationship with our Father in Heaven which came into being because of what He has done through His Son and nothing that we have done on our own. This gift of salvation is accepted by simple child like faith as we reach out to Him as lost souls in need of redemption

When we come to Him we must have complete trust, believe that He exists and that He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Hebrews 11: 6.

Once we are born of God we are immediately translated into the kingdom of His dear Son through redemption. Look what the Amplified says, the Father has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have our redemption through His blood. Colossians 1:13-14.

Now we move forward and begin to see ourselves as God sees us through His word. Within the pages of His word we receive specific instructions on how to conduct ourselves as we continue to walk by faith.

We have in our hands a new testament written down by chosen men of God, inspired by the Spirit of God, which is His entire will for our lives as we follow Him into eternity.

To understand the need for redemption we must first of all look at our condition and the surroundings that we have inherited following our natural birth.

Some are fortunate enough to be born into a family where some truth still exists, even to the point where they are guided to the Light at an early age, but sad to say this is not the norm in most household’s world wide.

Other existing family conditions might include the following: atheism, agnosticism, humanism, communism, same sex, various cults, false religions etc. These and many other types of offensive anomalies await the one who is about to be born into a world full of confusion, doubt and unbelief.

This one who is about to be born, should he make it past the surgeons blade, is about to inherit a world of darkness but hopefully at some point in time, a world of light.

We who are living in the kingdom of light are fully aware of the kingdom of darkness because we have been translated from one to the other following our confession of faith in the Great Redeemer who not only has bought us with a great price but has also made of us a new creature in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:17.

The kingdom of light is also referred to as the kingdom of God which Jesus of Nazareth referred to as someday existing within the believer. Luke 17:21.

Yet the one who has just exited the womb has a long way to go and a world of opposition with one purpose in mind and that is to keep this new arrival from ever coming into the knowledge of the truth that would lead him through the door of salvation who is Christ Jesus the Lord.

Waiting on this side of the womb is a kingdom so despicable and horrendous that just one evil thought should be enough to turn an individual back from following after this one that is referred to as that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan. Revelation 20:2.

But no, his thoughts and actions are played out on the world stage  24/7, as so called good folks stand back and wonder why these things are so.

To understand we have to get a revelation of how this kingdom functions. The Bible says that Satan is the deceiver of the whole world and as simple as it may sound, deception is the key to mans destruction.

To bring it down to a personal level we just have to go to the book of James for the formula.

Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. James 1:13-16.

So the one who has just exited the womb has these four things waiting for him, temptation, desire, sin and death, unless of course he is led to the light at an early age, which brings us to the reason why Jesus of Nazareth gave His followers the great commission, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel (good news) to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” Mark 16:15-16.

We can blame God the Father for creation, we can blame Him for the existence of man and we can blame Him for the plan of redemption but we cannot blame Him for unrighteousness because when He gave Adam and Eve one commandment He also gave them warning as to what would happen if they were ever disobedient to that one commandment.

And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” Genesis 2:16-17.

We see from the word that the serpent (Satan) came to Eve with the same formula that we read in the book of James and she fell for it hook, line and sinker, and being the great fisherman that he was, Adam fell for it also.

It is common knowledge that when Adam disobeyed God’s command, at that very moment he turned dominion of the earth over to Satan which can be confirmed by reading the following verse, “And the devil said to Him (Jesus), “All this authority I will give you, and their glory; for this has been delivered (turned over) to me, and I give it to whom ever I wish.”

Luke 4:6.

This verse alone gives us insight into who controls the world system and why it can never be governed by man in the way that God intended.

This revelation of the dark kingdom was confirmed by Jesus as He was trying once again to reason with the unrighteous when He said, “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do.” John8:44a.

When the Light came into the world the world did not know Him even though the world was made through Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name. John 1:10-12.

This is the beginning of redemption, “And it shall be that whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord [invoking, adoring and worshipping the Lord—Christ] shall be saved.” Acts 2:21.

Calling on the name of Jesus by faith is the jumping off point as it were, imagine a child who is being persuaded by its father to jump into the swimming pool for the very first time, of course he is afraid but there is something in his heart that tells him, I can trust my daddy with my life, why?, because he loves me. And so it is with our Father God, He loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but shall inherit eternal life.

John 3:16.

Just as we stated before, the kingdom of God lives within the believer, once we call on that wonderful name, become filled with the Spirit and walk in the light as He is in the light, having fellowship one with another, knowing that the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin. 1John 1:7.

This is the first step on the road of righteousness, faith that works by love has transported us from earth to the Enterprise where everything is comfortable and safe as long as we partake of the bread of life and walk in obedience to Him and all that He has commanded us to do.

For us, complete redemption is within and when the trumpet sounds and He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 1John3:2  Amen.
